Maria has a cube shaped box that measures 9 inches along each edge. Can she fit 1,000 square-inch cubes inside the box?

    No because it is a cube with 9 in on each side so you do 9 to the third power and that is 729. 1000 cubes doesn't fit into that

    No, the volume would be 9 (9) (9), which is only 729 cubes
