    The answer is exponent.

    Exponent is a number that tells how many times the base is used as a factor.

    For example

    => 5^3, the exponent is 3 and the base is 5, that would like this = 5 x 5 x 5

    => 10^2, the exponent is 2 and the base is 10, the would be like this = 10 x 10

    Exponent can also be negative, zero or multiple. There are also what you call law of exponent where you will know what are the uses and the process of every exponent.
