If one term of a proportion is not known, what can be used to find the value of that term

    Say the proportion is x/200=56/100 to find x you'd cross multiply then you'll get

    100*x=200*56 then you'd get 100x=11200 then you divide both sides by 100 to isolate the variable x and you'll get your answer 112
