Solve 6 (-2 - 3x) + 8 = 68

    From my calculations I'd say X=-4.

    First you would start off by using distributive property by distributing the 6 to - 2 and - 3x and you get : - 12-18x+8=68

    then combine like terms

    -4-18x=68

    then now you have your equation, your gonna solve for X.

    Add 4 to both sides and you get.

    -18x=72

    divide both sides by - 18 and you get

    x=-4

    I am not sure if this is the write answer, but I believe x is 3.6 repeating.
