How much did a retailer lose on a shirt he purchased for $43 and sold for $53.90 if the overhoverhead was $17.87?

    Buying price=$43

    Costs=$17.87

    Selling price = $53.90

    43+17.87=$60.87

    60.87-53.90=$6.97

    Loss=$6.97
