How does the volume of a prism change if each dimension of the present is doubled

    The volume would also double ... Think about it this way, the volume is equal to V so if length, width and height double then V=lxwxh so 2V=2 (lxwxh)

    Area of a prism = 1/2 * base * height * width

    If you double each side then A = 1/2 * 2b * 2h * 2w

    Essentially you get 2*2*2 = 8

    So the volume would be 8 times the original value.
