The measure of two vertical angles are 45 percent and (4x + 1). Find the value of x

    Since angles that are vertical to each other are equal to each other, the first thing I did is set 45 equal to 4x+1 which would look something like this: 45=4x+1

    Then I solved for x. First, I subtracted 1 from each side to isolate 4x which would get me to 4x=44. Then I divided each side by 4 to isolate x and get me to my answer which would be x=11.
