A car dealership sold 44 cars this month. For every 4 red cars sold, 7 blue cars are sold.

How many of the cars sold this month were blue?

    44 cars, for every 4 red cars sold 7 blue cars a sold. I think that one way you could solve this would be to add 4 and 7 to get 11 then divide 44 by 11 to get 4. then you would multiply 7 by 4 to get 28. 28 of the cars sold this month were blue.
