Total amount - sales tax - 2 packages of balloons = 1 package plant food = cost of 1 plant food

    32.09 - 1.34 - 7.18 = 23.57

    23.57 : 2 = 11.78

    strategy:

    32.09 - 1.34 - 7.18 - cost of 1 package of p. f. = cost of 1 package of p. f.
