How to determine how to shade the true solutions to the inequality

    This is going to be kinda hard to explain in text, but I'm going to try anyways.

    Let's say your inequality is 3
    Since it is less than and not less then or equal to, we use an open dot, a circle, on the 3.

    Now we need to see which way to shade.

    Since 3 is less than something, we just need to think of something more than 3. 6 for instance.

    Once you find a number bigger than 3 you just need to shade that way.
