A dogs weight goes from 75 to 65 lbs. what is the percent of change? rounded to the nearest whole percent

    We set the denominator as the original weight of the dog which is 75.

    And the numerator is the new weight of the dog.

    65/75 = 13/15

    13/15 ≈ 87%

    100% - 87% = 13%

    So the dog weight decreased by about 13%.
