    24 cars, 26 motorcycles

    Step-by-step explanation:

    x = number of motorcycles

    y = number of cars

    x + y = 50

    x = 50 - y

    2x + 4y = 148

    2 (50 - y) + 4y = 148

    100 - 2y + 4y = 148

    100 + 2y = 148

    2y = 48

    y = 24 cars

    x = 50 - 24

    x = 26 motorcycles
