    To find the weight of a cubic foot you will need to know the weight of the water (2071 pounds) and how many cubic feet there are.

    You would then divide these 2 amounts.

    Because we already know the weight, the only thing to find would be the number of cubic feet.

    The total volume of the water on cubic inches is found using the following:

    V=lwh

    72x84x9.5

    V=57456 cubic inches

    You will need to find out how many cubic inches are in a cubic foot by doing the following:

    V=lwh

    12x12x12

    V = 1728 cubic inches in a cubic foot

    57456/1728 will give us the number of cubic feet.

    33.25 cubic feet of space.

    2071 pounds/33.25 cubic feet=

    62.29 pounds per cubic foot

    The water weights about 62.29 pounds per cubic foot.
