Lily rolled a number cube labeled 1-6. she rolls the cube two times. what is the probability that lily will roll an odd number, then an even number? express your answer as a percent.

    The probability of the two independent events is the product of the individual probabilities.

    The cube has 6 different numbers.

    3 of the numbers are odd.

    3 of the numbers are even.

    p (odd) = 3/6 = 1/2

    p (even) = 3/6 = 1/2

    p (odd followed by even) = 1/2 * 1/2 = 1/4 = 0.25 = 25%
