    Step-by-step explanation:

    Let the height of the rectangle = x cm

    The base of rectangle = x + 7

    Area = 44 Sq. cm

    base * height = 44

    (x+7) * x = 44

    x² + 7x = 44

    x² + 7x - 44 = 0

    x² - 4x + 11x - 44 = 0

    x (x-4) + 11 (x-4) = 0

    (x-4) (x+11) = 0

    x-4 = 0 or x+11 = 0

    x = 4 0r x = - 11

    x = 4 (measurement cannot be in negative value)

    Height = 4 cm

    Base = 4 + 7 = 11cm

    Perimeter = 2 * (base + height)

    = 2 * (11+4) = 2*15

    = 30 cm
