What would 6 2/8 be if you turned it into a improper fraction?

    You would multiply the integer (6) by the denominator (8) plus the numerator (2) and then put the final number over 8

    6*8=x

    x+2=y

    y/8 is the answer

    50/8 because you multiply the six by the eight to get 48 and add it to the 2 already over the 8.
