The results for a survey of 120 students who were selected randomly are l60 students have a cell phone with company x 36 students have a cell phone with company y 24 students do not have a cell phone. the total population of students was 380. Based on the data, what is the best approximation for the number of students who have a cell phone plan with company y

    samples for a survey - 120 students

    cellphone with company x - 60 students

    cellphone with company y - 36 students

    no cellphone - 24 students

    The approximation is simply determined by dividing 36 with the samples from the survey

    36 / (120) = 30%
