    This is the concept of algebra, given that Fat Grams A cup contains 7.5 g of fat, the formula for fat in x cups will be given by:

    Total amount of fat = (number of cups) * (amount of grams per cup)

    Let total amount be y;

    number of cups=x

    thus;

    y=7.5*x

    y=7.5x

    Since the equation of the straight line is given by y=mx+c, where m-slope.

    The slope of our equation will be m=7.5
