Sonya got 8 out of 10 questions right on a quiz. she got the same score on a quiz that had 20 questions. how many questions did sonya get right on the second quiz? how many questions did she get wrong on the second quiz?

    She got 4 out 20 questions wrong because it is 8/10=x/20, so 10 * 2 = 20, so 8*2=16, so she got 16 out of 20 right and 20-16=4 so she got 4 wrong.

    Sonya got 8 questions right out of 10 questions in the first quiz, so she got 80% [ (8/10) x 100 to get the percentage] of the questions right.

    Apply this logic to 20 questions for the second quiz by multiplying 20 x 80% = 16 questions.

    So she got 16 questions right on the second quiz.

    Deduct 16 out of 20 (20 - 16 = 4) so she got 4 questions wrong on the second quiz.
