The perimeter of a rectangle is 50 cm. the length of the rectangle is one less than twice the width. what is the length of the rectangle

    50/2=25 (sum of both lengths)

    3x-1=25

    3x=26

    x=8 and 2/3=26/3

    length = 49/3=16 and 1/3
