A flag has a total area of 42 square feet.

A second flag has an area of 48 square

feet. If the widths of both flags are

each 6 feet, what are the lengths?

    The first flag has the length of 7 feet.

    The second flag has the length of 8 feet.

    First it would be 42/6 and 48/6

    So the first flag would be 7 feet and the second would be 8 feet long
