    This is a cylinder with:

    h = 12 in;

    r = 8 : 2 - 0.75 = 4 - 0.75 = 3.25 in;

    V = r² π h

    V = 3.25² · 3.14 · 12 = 397.995 in³ ≈ 398 in³
