In a small city, approximately 18% of those eligible are called for jury duty in any one calendar year. people are selected at random from those eligible and the same individual can't be called more than once in the same year.

a. what is the probability that an eligible person in this city is selected two years in a row? show work.

    Probability for the first and second years separately is 0.18, so together they are 0.18²=0.0324 or 3.24%.
