Find the height of a triangle with area 85 1/3 ft squared and base 10 2/3 feet squared

    Lets convert the fractions first:

    85 1/3 = 255/3 + 1/3 = 256/3

    10 2/3 = 30/3 + 2/3 = 32/3

    now, the equation to find the area of a triangle is:

    area = height*base/2

    so the height is:

    height = 2*area/base

    then we substitute:

    height = 2 * (256/3) / (32/3)

    = (2*256/3) / (32/3)

    = (512/3) / (32/3)

    now, dividing by a fraction is the same as multiplying by that fraction upside down:

    = (512/3) (3/32)

    = (512*3) / (3*32)

    = 1536/96

    = 16

    therefore the height of the triangle is 16 ft
