    Order from highest power to lowest

    -12x^2+9x+8x-6

    group

    (-12x^2+9x) + (8x-6)

    factor

    (-3x) (4x-3) + (2) (4x-3)

    undistribute

    (-3x+2) (4x-3)

    (4x-3) (2-3x)

    8x - 6 - 12x^2 + 9x

    2 (4x-3) - 3x (3x-3)

    => (2-3x) (3x-3)

    => 3 (x-1) (2-3x)
