    Given that the mean of the equation is given by:

    m=6

    the variance is given by the formula:

    [∑ (x-m) ²] / (n-1)

    ∑ (x-m) ²=[ (4-6) ² + (7-6) ² + (4-6) ² + (10-6) ² + (5-6) ²]=26

    hence the expression will be:

    26 / (n-1)

    where n=5, the number of times she ran
