    Then, you make another ratio.

    You want to find the x so that the first ratio is still valid.

    3 multiplied by what equals 10? It is not a pretty number so put it in fraction form, 10/3.

    Multiply 45 by 10/3.

    Therefore, the maximum number of students allowed is 150.
