There are 200 adults and 300 children at a zoo. The zoo makes a total of $7000 from the entrance fees, and the cost for an adult and a child to attend is $30.

Write a system of equations that corresponds to the situation. Do not solve.

    Since the cost for a child AND an adult is 30$, then it is 15$ for a child, and 15$. I tried it and it does not make sense. So ...

    Let c be the cost of children and a be the cost for adults.

    200a+300c=7000

    a+c=30

    This is all I can do.
