Falling off the table the vertical distance doesn't depend on the horizontal velocity. Then the table height of 2.08 = (1/2) at^2 = 16t^2. t = 0.36 seconds to hit the floor.

During this time the velocity = 3x0.36 = 1.08 meters.

The angle it hits the floor is arcTan (2.08/1.08) = 62.6 degrees.
