On Sunday, a local hamburger shop sold a combined total of 261 hamburgers and cheeseburgers. The number of cheeseburgers sold was two times the number of hamburgers sold. How many hamburgers were sold on Sunday?

    Since there were 2 cheeseburgers for every 1 hamburger, the total number of hamburgers is 1/3 the total number of burgers sold.
