How can you use negative numbers represent real-world problems?

    Say the normal ground water level in California is "zero".

    Now we have a watee shortage and the the level is - 10 feet.

    A real problem!

    You can use negative numbers in temperature

    negative numbers sometimes occur in bank accounts when you have debt

    when you're plotting graphs maybe
