Including a 5 percent sales tax, a hotel charges $147 per night. What's the cost without the tax

    For one night WITH SALES TAX, it would be $154.35, but without sales tax, it would just be $147 ... unless you add tip, you would just multipy the original by the percent of the tip then add that answer to the original price.

    147 + 7.35 = $154.35
