Answer:multiply both numbers in the parenthesis by the number outside:
2n+4 + 10=4n+20
add all like terms
2n+14=4n+20
subtract both sides by 14 and 4
2n-4n = 20 - 14
add or subtract like terms
-2n = 6
divide both sides by - 2
n = - 3
