Let n represent the original number of nails that come in a box. Which expression represents the number of nails Savannah uses for the second project?

    18 nails at first

now the total number of nails in box=n-18 where n=original number in box

she uses 10 more than (10+) half (1/2) number of nails in box

    10+1/2 times (n-18)

    therefor the answer is 1/2 (n-18) + 10

the answer would be third one if you distribute but it looks like you forgot the / symbol so then answer is

the answer could be the floowing

    1/2 (n-18) + 10

    1/2n-18/2+10

    1/2n-9+10

    1/2n+1

pick the one that is listed as a possible answer
