The Ortiz family will travel round-trip from Indianapolis to Denver this summer. The driving distance between the two cities is 1,058 miles. They need to find out about how much the gas will cost round trip. Their car gets about 20 miles per gallon. They usually spend about $2.89 per gallon.

    They will spend $152.881 because when you divide the total amount of miels by the 20 miels you will get 52.9 miels than you are going to multiply the 52.9 miels by the amount of money for one gallon u get $152.881 dollars for 52.9 times you put in gas on the car.
