The product of - 2 and a number x is greater than 30.

    First, you have to write down the inequality:

    -2*x>30

    Then you must figure out how to solve this. The way I would solve this is to divide 30 by - 2 and then use a number greater than that.

    30/-2=-15

    so you have to chose a number that is bigger than - 15 in order to get the answer.

    -2*-16=32

    That makes the new inequality 32>30.

    That is the answer to the inequality.
