F (x) = ax 2 + bx + c has a positive leading coefficient and the vertex that has a y-coordinate of zero. Determine the number of real zeros of the function.

    Well whether or not a is positive really doesn't matter, but if the y coordinate of the vertex is zero then that means the vertex is on the x axis, so there can only be one real zero.
