If 8 men can chop down 28 trees in one day, how many trees can 20 men chop down in

one day?

    28 / 8 = 3.5

    20 x 3.5 = 70

    20 men can chop down 70 trees

    I think it's 70 cause 8 goes into 20, (2 times equals 16) so 28+28 = 56 and the 4 left over men are half of 8 so half of 28 is 14 so 56+14=70
