The worm will be at the top of the hole at 4 PM

    Step-by-step explanation:

The height of the hole = 10 foot

Now at 8 AM, the the worm would have climbed 3 foot

At 9 AM the the worm would have slides 1 foot and will be at 2 foot

Now at 10 AM, the the worm would have climbed 3 foot and will be at 5 foot

At 11 AM the the worm would have slides 1 foot and will be at 4 foot

Now at 12 AM, the the worm would have climbed 3 foot and will be at 7 feet

At 1 PM the the worm would have slides 1 foot and will be at 6 foot

Now at 2 PM, the the worm would have climbed 3 foot and will be at 9 feet

At 3 PM the the worm would have slides 1 foot and will be at 8 foot

Now at 4 PM, the the worm would have climbed 11 foot
