AB passes through A (-3,0) and B (-6,5) what is the equationof the line that passes through the origin and parallel to AB

    The slope of the parallel line will be equal to the slope of this line.

    Slope of line = (change in y) / (change in x)

    m = (5 - 0) / (-6 + 3)

    m = - 5/3

    y-intercept = 0 because it passes through origin.

    y = - 5/3 x
