What are the values of the median and the mean of this distribution?{1, 1, 2, 2, 2, 3, 3, 3, 3, 4, 4, 4, 5, 5, 6, 7}

    The median (middle number), and if there is an even amount of numbers (which is what there is in this problem, there will be 2 middle numbers ... so u take the 2 middle numbers ... add them and divide by 2 to find the median.

    (3 + 3) / 2 = 6/2 = 3 ... median is 3

    the mean (average) can be found by adding up all the numbers and dividing by how many numbers there are. 55/16 = 3.4275 rounds to 3.43 < = = mean
