Tyler has two dogs. One of the dogs weighs twice as much as the other. If the total weight of hte two dogs is 60 pounds, how much does each dog weigh?

    One of the dogs weighs 20 pounds and the other 40, because 20 times 2 is 40, and 20 plus 40 is 60

    Each dog would weigh 30lbs. If the total is 60, and there are two to distribute the weight between, and one is twice the weight of the other, you get 60/2=30.
