    Hi,

    Start with 6b-27=3 (5b-2)

then add 27 to each side, 6b-27+27=15b-6+27

    next simplify, 6b=15b+21

now subtract 15b from both sides, 6b-15b=15b+21-15b

    simplify again, - 9b=21

    divide both sides by - 9, - 9b/-9 = 21/-9

    answer: - 7/3

    Have a great day!
