If 3 over 4 ton of pebbles covers 4 over 5 of a garden, how many tons of pebbles are required to cover the entire garden?

    (3/4) / (4/5) = x/1

    cross multiply

    4/5x = 3/4

    x = 3/4 * 5/4

    x = 15/16 tons of pebbles are needed to cover the entire garden
