Begin by subtracting the amount that they already have made from the total needed, making: 12,500-1,0250=11,250.

So, the amount needed to raise more is $11,250, and we have 50 students. To make the amount needed for the trip, divide the amount needed by each student, for the amount needed to raise by each student. 1125050 = 225

Each student must make $225 for the trip to happen.
