In a triangle, two angles have measures of 45º and 85º. What is the measure of the third angle in this triangle?

    To figure out one measure of a triangle, we use A2+B2=C2

    (Where a is the first measure times itself, b is the second side times itself and c is the longest side times itself). Once you figure that out and plug all your numbers into the formula, you can solve like a regular equation. 45 times 45 is 2,025. 85 times 85 is 7,225. We don't know c so we just put that as C2. Our equation - 2,025+7,225 = C2

    Add the numbers to get 9,250 = C2

    Our answer is 96. (Because 96 times itself is 9,250). The answer is not exact so I just rounded it to the nearest whole number.
