    Total dairy cattle on farm = 12 x 6

    Total dairy cattle on farm = 72

    Total beef cattle on farm = 4 x 16

    Total beef cattle on farm = 64

    Difference = 72 - 64

    There are 8 more dairy cattle than beef cattle on the barn.
