How do you right - 6x-42=-16y in standard form?

    In standard form, do you mean slope?

    If you do, this is what I got;

    y = 6/16x - 2.625

    In the slope, the negative cancels out because both the numerator and the denominator are negative.

    16y=6x+42

    16/16y=6x/16+42/16

    y = 3x/8 + 21/8
