How do I turn this vertex form - 2 (x-0) ^2 + 18 in to a standard form

    Explanation:

    Since (x-0) ^2 is the same thing as (x-0) (x-0), you should multiply out (x-0) ^2, you'll get this

    -2 (x^2-0x-0x+0) + 18

    Then simplify
