Be the event a spinner arrow stopping on green: A

The probability of a spinner arrow stopping on green: P (A) = 0.25

Be the event drawing a blue 3 from a pack of cards: B

    The propbability of drawing a blue 3 from a pack of cards: P (B) = 0.02

    The two events are independent

    Probability of a spinner arrow stopping on a green and drawing a blue 3 from the pack of cards: P (A and B) = P (A ∩ B) = ?

    Since the events are independent:

    P (A ∩ B) = P (A) * P (B)

    P (A ∩ B) = (0.25) * (0.02)

    P (A ∩ B) = 0.005

Answer: The approximate probability of a spinner arrow stopping on a green and drawing a blue 3 from the pack of cards is 0.005
